Wet week ahead

The latest, local National Weather Service forecast calls for a wet week ahead.

Some chance of rain is in the forecast every day until Friday.

Rain Monday is expected to continue through the early hours of Tuesday morning. There should be a break on Tuesday afternoon but a chance of rain returns Tuesday night and by Wednesday there’s a 90 percent chance of rain. Wednesday night there could be some snow mixed with the rain and that could extend into Thursday, with a diminishing chance of precipitation during the day.

Monday’s high temperature will be 49, Tuesday’s 54, Wednesday’s 43 and Thursday’s 42.

Friday and Saturday’s early forecast calls for sunny skies and high temperatures in the 50s.
