Friends, colleagues and family members roasted Paddock Lake based attorney Paul Gagliardi Saturday all in good humor and for the benefit for The Sharing Center.

The Sharing Center is Western Kenosha County’s resources center providing food pantry and other services. Gagliardi is currently¬†president of the center’s Board of directors.

The program for the night included a video presentation on The Sharing Center and Gagliardi and roasting by Mike Serpe, Richard Ginkowski and Tony Stella.

The event took place at Casa Capri in Kenosha.

The good-natured ribbing included remarks about Gagliardi’s height, frugality and of course customized lawyer jokes.

But Gagliardi’s many contributions to the The Sharing Center and other community programs as well as his better qualities also were recognized.

“Paul, we want to thank you for all you do,” The Sharing Center executive director Sharon Pomaville said in the video presentation.

“This is a good man,” Ginkowski said. “There isn’t much more you can say about someone who is of this character.”

Gagliardi also made some remarks at the end of the program, at first in a Donald Trump mask, but also unmasked.

“The feeling you get when you help someone, that’s the greatest gift anybody could receive ever,” Gagliardi said. “I’m asking you tonight to share with that and to help us with The Sharing Center because that’s all The Sharing Center is about — giving.”

County executive Jim Kreuser presented an commendation from Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian and Kreuser, praising Gagliardi for his community service.

  1. Charlene I Brandes says:

Looks like a great turnout, sorry we couldn’t make it!

  2. Paul V Gagliardi says:

Darren, thanks for the great coverage. On behalf of Sharon and all at the Sharing Center, thanks to all that made this a success. I didn’t realize all of the great things that were there until I got home. Someone gave Joni and I deserts and the great pop corn bags. The deserts were out of this world. Thanks staff for doing this. Way beyond the call of duty. p

  3. Doug Hozeska says:

Congrats Paul I’ve always admired you. It’s nice to know someone who is so giving
