Flood warning issued for Fox River

WEATHER-ALERT-logo-all-3-webThe National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Fox River in Western Kenosha County.

The river at the New Munster gauge was at 10.32 feet as of 6 a.m., Friday. The river forecast calls for the river to be over flood stage of 11 feet by early this afternoon. The river is expected to crest just below 12 feet Saturday morning.

After a slight chance of rain Friday morning, the next significant chance of rain comes Sunday night, with a 60 percent chance forecast.
