Central HS forensics team members qualify for 2017 state

Last week Westosha Central’s Forensics team competed in the District Tournament at Burlington High School. This is the meet that determines whether they go to state or not. In order to go to state, each member, or group, much receive two scores of at least a 20 or above. Everyone who competed qualified for the first time in years. 

Students who made it to state this year are:  Aysiah Aguilar, Veronica B-K, Michelle Belmont, Jenna Bradtke, Teagan Coomans. Will Cushman, Jordan Dahlberg, Jonathan Filatreault, Chelsea Gerber, Haley Gorsuch, Maria Grenyo, Shannen Griffiths, Emily Houtz, Grace Jahnke, Emily Jones, Alex Kelly, Zayin Knotterus, Anna Kurzer, Chelsea Lamp, Madison LeRoy, Lina Mack, Joyce Riphagen, Carina Rook, Alex Salerno, Victoria Salerno, Jeanna Soto, Vanessa Tym, Francesca Weidner, Elise Wember, Sally Windler, Jennifer Young.

In addition,  Central will be hosting this year’s conference meet, which will be after school, Wednesday, April 5.
