Weather related closings and cancellations

With the National Weather Service issuing a lake effect snow warning, schools and organizations have begun announcing closings:

  • Central High School in Paddock Lake has cancelled all after school activities and meetings.
  • Wilmot Union High School has cancelled all after school activities.
  • Bristol School has cancelled all after school activities.
  • Brighton School has cancelled Drama, Girls B Team VB Practice and Boys VB Practice scheduled for after school.
  • Wheatland Center School has cancelled all after school activities.
  • The SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age, a documentary being presented by Westosha Central, Brighton, Bristol, Paris, Wheatland Center and Salem schools has been rescheduled for March 16. Details here.
  • From University of Wisconsin-Parkside: Due to current weather conditions and the Lake Effect Snow Warning issued earlier today, evening classes scheduled to begin at or after 5 p.m. Monday, March 13, have been canceled. Morning, afternoon and evening classes on Tuesday, March 14, will be held as scheduled. Any changes to Tuesday’s class schedule will be posted on the UW-Parkside website and the university’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
  • Riverview School has cancelled all after school activities for Monday.

If you have an activity scheduled for Monday evening it might be a good idea to check on its status.
