A wetter, maybe even snowier week is ahead, says the latest, local National Weather Service forecast.
The water works are expected to start Monday night, with a 90 percent chance of rain. There’s a 50 percent chance of rain Tuesday and a 70 percent chance of rain Tuesday night. The rain may become snow Wednesday, but there’s less than one inch of accumulation expected. A 30-40 percent chance of rain/snow persists into Thursday.
Temperatures are expected to still be moderate for this time of year. Tuesday’s high may reach the upper 50s. Temps will get cooler after that with highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s Wednesday and Thursday, but highs should be back in the 50s by the weekend.
