The 2017 Polar Plunge for Special Olympics took place Saturday at the Brat Stop. Over 200 people braved the cold water and raised money to sponsor Special Olympic athletes.

This is the 18th annual plunge for this area. The 7th year at the Brat Stop. Special Olympic Plunges are held all over the state.

Some of the jumpers included representatives of the Twin Lakes Police Department. They were one of several law enforcement departments jumping. Since they were they last to jump, they did the lucky duck drawing.
