Lakewood School officials made a presentation to the 2017 Wisconsin Association of School Boards convention on Jan. 19 on the district’s  Systems Alignment for Continuous School Improvement planning.

Making the presentation were school board President Amanda Hahn, director of curriculum and instruction Sara Markee and District administrator Joseph Price.

This philosophy calls for continual analysis and adjustment. Where most strategic plans tend to be about five years in length, and then the process is started over again, Lakewood’s is set to be ongoing with annual adjustments.

Price said “The work we have completed is a direct credit to our entire staff who are fully committed to this endeavor. With the work of the Board of Education, Administration, and our District Leadership Team, the sky is the limit for Lakewood! We look forward to our continual growth and are highly confident that our students will greatly benefit from the work we are doing.”
