Western Kenosha County should see a variety of precipitation over the next couple of days, says the latest, local National Weather Service forecast.

The stuff falling from the sky begins Tuesday night with rain and snow before 3 a.m., then rain, snow, and sleet between 3 and 4 a.m., then rain after 4 a.m. The rain is expected to continue through the morning, perhaps fall off in the early afternoon, but is likely to return in the evening.

There’s a 20 percent chance of snow showers Thursday.

High temperatures are expected to be in the low 40s Tuesday and Wednesday, before they start to dip again Thursday. Highs over the weekend will be in the upper 20s.
