At about 10:50 a.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a possible fire in a home in the 27800 block of 100th Street in Camp Lake.
Per dispatch: Caller reporting white smoke coming from a clothes dryer. Caller and a dog have evacuated the building.
UPDATE 10:54 a.m. — Full Salem response toned out. One unit on the scene confirming smoke showing.
UPDATE 10:58 a.m. — ARA response toned out for all Town of Salem stations and Randall Fire Department for structure fire.
UPDATE about 11:05 a.m. — Salem activates box alarm. Additional units responding from Bristol Fire and Rescue, Silver Lake Rescue Squad and other area fire departments.
UPDATE 11:34 a.m. — Box alarm has been struck by Salem Fire command.
UPDATE 11:50 a.m. — Some fire units being released by command to return to quarters.
