More freezing precipitation possible Monday; then warmer

A good chance of more freezing precipitation is in the latest local National Weather Service forecast for Monday.

Snow and sleet are likely, possibly mixed with freezing rain before 9 a.m., then freezing rain and sleet likely until 10 a.m. followed by rain.  Little or no ice accumulation is expected; new snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch is possible.

This is all part of a warming trend that will see temperatures in the high 30s to mid 40s through next Friday.
