Have you ever wanted to help people file taxes but weren’t sure how to begin? Join us for an informational session on becoming a volunteer for Kenosha’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Volunteers are needed for tax preparation, client registration, interviewing and quality reviewing. Assistance is also needed for sign and language interpretation.
Help your fellow community members by volunteering a few hours per month to prepare taxes for those unable to afford it.
The new volunteers informational meeting will be held Jan. 12, from 6:30 to 8p.m. at United Way of Kenosha County, 5500 Sixth Avenue, Suite 210, Kenosha,
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and would like to attend this informational session, please contact Laurie McDonald at 658-4104 or by emailing
