Cold spell to last through weekend

coldman-sxc-Dave-Dyet-webThe cold that has started Wednesday will continue through the weekend says the latest National Weather Service forecast for Western Kenosha County.

Highs will be in the low teens with lows in the low single digits Wednesday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday highs could reach the mid teens.

Wednesday could be windy, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Wind chill values will be in the -5 to -15 range Wednesday and Thursday.

A warm-up may start Monday when a more moderate high temp of 27 is expected.

There’s no snow or other precipitation in the forecast through Monday.
