Warmer spell starts Tuesday, extends through holiday weekend

hot-thermometer-istockA trend of noticeably warmer days is in the National Weather service forecast for the next seven days.

It will be even more noticeable — and welcome for most — after some of the coldest December weather experienced in awhile the last few days.

Tuesday’s high temperature is expected to reach 30. And highs for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday are expected to do the same. Lows will be in the 20s most of those days as well.

Christmas Day on Sunday may even reach 40 for a high. There is also a 50 percent chance of rain and snow Sunday and a 40 percent chance of rain and snow Sunday night.
