Units responding for trees on fire and trees down

The snow fall appears to be causing a run of trees on fire reports:

  • At about 4:18 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to a report of a tree on fire in the 22200 block of 117th Street in Lake Shangri-la.
  • At about 4:20 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue units are responding to a report of a tree on fire in the 19600 block of 107th Street in Bristol. Right after this was toned out, dispatch said the caller reported the fire appeared to be out, but a Bristol was going to respond anyway.
  • 4:45 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to a report of a tree on fire in the 27000 block of 89th St.
  • 4:55 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to a report of a wire/trees on fire in the 11400 block of 271st Ave.
  • 5:06 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to a report of wires sparking near trees in the 11300 block of 286th Ave.
  • 5:39 p.m., Paris Fire and Rescue is responding to the report of a wire arcing and possible transformer on fire in the 19800 block of 60th St.
  • 6:03 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue is responding to a report of a transformer on fire in the 22200 block of 118th Street.
  • 6:18 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue is responding to a report of trees on fire in the 20700 block of Highway V.
  • 6:20 p.m., a sheriff’s deputy is responding to a report of a tree blocking the road in the 16800 block of Highway Q.
  • 6:21 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue units are responding to a report of trees sparking in the 19800 block of 82nd Street.
  • 8:53 p.m., Paris Fire and Rescue units responding to a report of arcing wires in the 15500 block of Highway N.
  • 9:10 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units are respponding to a report of arcing wires in the 10700 block of Highway V (south of Highway C).
