From a past parade.

Paddock Lake is seeking participants for it 4th annual Holiday Parade on Dec. 10.

The 2016 theme of the parade is “Christmas Around the World” (this is not required, but is encouraged).

Parade entries of all sizes, shapes, forms and categories are welcome.  A prize will be awarded for the “Most Creative” entry. An entry form is available here.

The parade route will start at McAlonan Park on 248th Avenue, head north to 61st Street, east to 236th Avenue and south to the Village Hall.  Lineup is at 3:30 p.m.; parade kicks off at 4 p.m.

Santa will be the head liner in the parade and will be escorted to the Village Hall to take pictures with all the good little boys and girls after the parade and tree lighting.

For liability purposes, the village asks that candy is not be thrown from floats but rather “handed out” to spectators by individuals walking along side of float entries.

Milk and cookies will be served at the Village Hall until 7 p.m.
