Wind advisory issued

wind-sock-sxc-Milan-Jurek-webThe National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for an area of Wisconsin including Western Kenosha County.

The advisory is in effect until 6 p.m.

The advisory says we could see sustained winds of 20-25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph. Driving may be more difficult in high profile vehicles and look out for falling branches or trees if you’re out in the woods for deer hunting.

There’s likely to be some light snow in that wind too this morning.

Adding to the effect will be a high temperature of 36 with a low of 22 Saturday night. Wind chill at a little before 7 a.m. was 21.
