At about 4:43 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to a report of a grass fire near the intersection of Highways K and 75 in Salem.
Per dispatch: A grass fire that appeared to be out of control and settign trees on fire was reported by a caller.
UPDATE about 4:46 p.m. — Per dispatch: Scene is actually south of Highway K along Highway 75. Burning leaves in an open field.
UPDATE 4:53 p.m. — Fire units clearing the scene and returning to quarters.
