Units responding to crash along Bristol-Salem border

At about 11:50 a.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a crash in the 21700 block of Highway C, along the Bristol-Salem border.

Per dispatch: Caller reporting a single SUV off the road. May have struck a pole.

UPDATE 11:51 a.m. — Deputy on scene reports one occupant conscious and breathing, but confused and injured. Correct location may be more like the 20900 block of Highway C, which would be in Bristol.

UPDATE 11:54 a.m. — Deputy on scene reporting patient now knows their name and is responding to questions. Bristol Fire and Rescue also on the scene.

UPDATE 12:09 p.m. — Deputy requests tow for vehicle. Reports heavy front end damage. Deputy also requests utility crew to the scene to assess the condition of a pole.
