2016 Wilmot Union High School Veterans Day ceremony coverage (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

Wilmot Union High School students, staff and about 100 veterans remembered Veteran’s Day Friday morning at the school.

Veterans were served breakfast, followed by a program in the Veterans Memorial Fieldhouse at the school.

The program paid tribute to those who served and the branches of service. There was also a multimedia tribute to the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor.

The guest speaker was Gregory Krueger, Curator of Exhibits at the Wisconsin Veteran’s Museum. The museum commemorate Wisconsin citizens role in military history. They have 26,00 objects in their collection including planes.

The veterans rose when the march for their branch of service was played by the combined WUHS band.
