Randall School students and staff thanked veterans for their service with a program and lunch at the school Friday.
The all-school assembly in the main gym included:
- A welcome by Kaidan Kopp, Kimmy Zender and Maddy Brockway.
- The Pledge of Allegiance led by Patience Klein.
- The Star-Spangled Banner performed by 7th and 8th Grade Concert Choir.
- A message from Principal Erin Zigler.
- God Bless the USA performed by 7th and 8th Grade Choir.
- Was Veterans Day Always on November 11th? by Jacob Loose.
- Marches of the Armed Forces performed by school band students.
- Why is the Poppy a Symbol for Veterans? presented by Abby Strother.
- Homeward Bound performed by 8th Grade Music Excel Girls.
- Community Outreach for our Veterans; Canine Companions Wounded Veteran Initiative by Elliana Zerr and Maddie Hershelman.
- Educational Opportinities in teh US Miliatry by Korik Klein, Carly Rohn and Kailyn Kiraly.
- History of Taps by Emm Franklin.
- Taps performed by Maxx Bastile.
- Thank You Soldiers performed by Randall School Concert Choirs, Junior High Band, staff and students.
- Closing remarks by district administrator John Gendron.
A lunch for veterans was served just before the assembly.

thank you for all you did on veterans day. It was all very well done and the children were all exceptional. I will always remember.
