Paris School hosted a school-wide assembly on Friday, Nov. 11, to give students the chance to remember all those who served honorably in the military – in wartime or peacetime.

The assembly provided the school and community the opportunity to show gratitude to the men and women who serve/served our country, and make it possible to have the freedoms that we appreciate today.

The celebration included a performance by the 132nd Army Band Quintet, of which school band director Ben Warmuth is a member. There also was a military montage by computer teacher Christy Hoff and patriotic songs performed by the school band and choir. Veterans in the crowd were asked to stand up as the 132nd Army Band Quintet played the song for each branch of the military.
