Salem School students and staff celebrated out nation’s veterans with an all school assembly Wednesday afternoon.
The assembly was held in the school main gym. It included:
- Salem Boy and Girl Scouts presenting the colors.
- Remarks about the holiday of Veterans Days by Principal Eileen Bruton.
- The National Anthem performed by 7th grade bad and selected choir students.
- A Veterans Day skit presented by Ava Viirree and Sabrina Shoulders.
- A Veterans Day poem presented by Carter Klementzos and Paige Smith.
- Addtional presentations by Rachel Bracey and Matthew Ash.
- Taps by 7th grade Salem trumpet players and retirement of the colors by the Scouts.
