Free early childhood screenings available by appointment at Salem School on Nov. 9

Does your child…

  • Have difficulty seeing or hearing?
  • Have difficulty talking or being understood by others?
  • Have difficulty naming colors, shapes, and counting?
  • Have behavior difficulties or appear excessively active?
  • Would like more information about your child’s overall development?

A free screening is available to all children located within Bristol, Paris and Salem school districts that are 3-5 years of age who are not yet enrolled in school. The screening looks at the following developmental areas: fine and gross motor, speech and language, concepts (colors, shapes, numbers), social-emotional and self-help. A free hearing and vision screening will also be completed.

The screenings will be held at Early Childhood Room 102, Salem Grade School, 8828 Antioch Road, Salem on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
