The Badger Girls Varsity Swim Team, which includes girls from Badger, Bigfoot, Central, Wilmot and Williams Bay, earned the 2016 Conference Title for the fifth year in a row on Saturday.
Central students who contributed to the win on Saturday include:
- Tessa Jahneke (5th place-500 yd Freestyle).
- Sarah Verzal (1st place-200 yd Medley Relay, 4th place-50 yd Freestyle, 4th place-200 yd Freestyle Relay, 3rd place-400 yd Freestyle Relay).
- Rylee Kennell (2nd place-200 yd Medley Relay, 4th place-200 yd Freestyle Relay, 3rd place-100 yd Breaststroke).
- Elise Wember (2nd place-200 yd Medley Relay, 7th place-200 yd Indiv. Medley, 6th place 100 yd Butterfly).
- Claire Koeppel (2nd place-200 yd Freestyle, 3th place-500 yd Freestyle, 3rd place-400 yd Freestyle Relay).
- Eden Wember (7th place-50 yd Freestyle, 3rd place- 100 Freestyle, 1st place-200 yd Freestyle Relay, 1st place-400 yd Freestyle Relay).
From Wilmot:
- Lauren Pryor (8th place-200 yd Indiv. Medley, 7th place- 100 yd Butterfly, 4th place-200 yd Freestyle Relay, 3rd place-400 yd Freestyle Relay)
The Badger Consolidated Swim Team will be looking to defend its 2015 sectional title on Nov. 4.
