At about 7:45 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding for an investigation in the 12100 block of 223rd Avenue in Lake Shangri-la.
Per dispatch: A burning smell has been reported inside a residence.
UPDATE about 8:02 p.m. — Fire unit on scene reports to dispatch that problem is with a single appliance. Fire personnel conducting a safety check of the residence.
UPDATE about 8:05 p.m. — Deputy on scene reports to dispatch that problem was with an old refrigerator.
