The 2016 class of inductees into the Wilmot Union High School Hall of Fame were introduced to the community at the Homecoming game Friday.
This year’s inductees are:

Daniel Chlebos — Class of 1983. Chlebos was a long-time police officer with the Twin Lakes Police Department, including serving as a lieutenant and acting chief for 12 years. Chlebos also was a captain of the Twin Lakes Fire Department for 20 years and a member of the Twin Lakes Rescue Squad for 15 years. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Concordia University and a master of science degree from University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He was an executive board member of the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Center and an NCAA baseball umpire for 15 years. Notable memories from his days as a student at Wilmot: “I was blessed to have Mr. Tom Hausman as a drama/speech teacher. His mentoring and competing at state in one-act plays and other school performances has provided me with confidence throughout my entire life. After all, ‘the world is a stage.'”

Brian R. Maron — Class of 1990. Maron is the site executive director, Early Development/Discovery and Translational Services, Covance R&D Labs, Shanghai , China. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering and a masters of science from Milwaukee School of Engineering. He has worked in the United States, Europe and China with global teams in a matrix environment. He is the author and co-author of various publications and has volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Milwaukee and Northern Nevada, Special Olympics and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation – Race for a Cure. Notable memories from his days as a student at Wilmot: Participating in and watching athletics, placing second in State in baseball (1990), plus math and science classes.

Theresa Mozzocci — Class of 1983. Mozzocci is a chartered financial analyst and has served in positons such as: managing director, Cantor Fitzgerald in New York city; principal/new business development, Pluscios Management, Evanston, Ill.; director of marketing, Crestline Investors, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas. She is a board member of Women Investment Professionals and member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds. She earned a bachelor of arts degree from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a master of business administration degree from Kellstadt Graduate School, DePaul University. She is active in children/women causes, tutoring through church at project areas in Chicago and mentoring young professional women for Step-Up Network. Notable memories from her days as a student at Wilmot: “I have a lot of fond memories from my high school years at Wilmot. Most of them involving cheerleading (our great basketball team) and my early years in the band (great road trips). I treasure the friendships I made at Wilmot. What I believe I take away from my years at Wilmot is the foundation of who I am.”

Joseph Riesselmann Sr. — Class of 1954. Riesselmann served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1958, reaching the rank of corporal. He was a Kenosha County Sheriff’s deputy and owned and operated Riesselmann Electric for over 30 years and Riesselmann Laundries in Paddock Lake and Kenosha. Riesselmann was a charter member and former president of Westosha-Salem Kiwanis Club. Riesselmann served as an adult leader in the Boy Scouts of America, both at the local and district level, serving Kenosha and Racine counties for over 30 years, receiving the Silver Beaver award. He was a member of Kenosha Moose Family Center #286 and former Administrator of the Lodge. Riesselmann served 20 years on the Village Board of Paddock Lake as trustee, president and various committees and advisory boards. For his church, for many years as religious education teacher, president of school board, committee chairman and member of parish council, usher, lector and Eucharistic minister.
In order to be eligible for the Hall of Fame, candidates must have graduated from Wilmot Union High School in 2008 or earlier. Candidates meeting this sole criterion are then judged based upon the following:
- Leadership
- Achievements
- Service to his/her community
