The time to register for the latest Powerful Tools for Caregivers series has been extended.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a 6-week educational series designed by Stanford University to provide you with the tools you need to take care of yourself while caring for an adult loved-one. This program helps family caregivers reduce stress, improve self-confidence, communicate feelings better, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.
There are two local classes you can choose from:
- Wednesdays, Sept. 21-Oct. 26 from 6-8 p.m. Kenosha County Center, 19600 75 th St. (Highways 50 and 45), Bristol.
- Thursdays, Sept. 22-Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. – Noon. Hospice Alliance, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Street, Pleasant Prairie.
A suggested donation of $10 is asked to help cover the cost of materials.
