ADRC to present Insight into Alzheimer’s & Dementia program on Sept. 21

Kenosha County Aging & Disability Resource Center & Kenosha Area Family & Aging. Inc. is presenting “Gain Insight into Alzheimer’s & Dementia” on Sept. 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the County Center Building located at 19600 75th St. (Highway 50 and 45), Bristol. Event presenters are Kenosha County Dementia Care Specialists, Linda Bocanegra-Johnson and Patty Collins.  Various educational opportunities will be available for caregivers, professionals or anyone concerned about their memory, or is interested in learning about Alzheimer’s and dementia. The free event will offer a Virtual Dementia Tour (reservation required), Dementia 101 and community resources, Memory screens, and videos highlighting dementia, caregiving, dementia friendly communities and Music and Memory. Refreshments and a drawing for a money tree gift basket will be offered. The event is open to the public.
