Silver Lake Sportsmen annual picnic/open house will take place Saturday Aug. 27 from from noon until 6 p.m. at the club grounds located
on Highway F (Silver Lake Road) across from the Silver Lake County Park entrance.
The event features live entertainment, free pig roast with the purchase of raffle tickets, games and prizes for the kids, $2 beers, tours of the grounds and more.
Raffles offer thousands of dollars in prizes.
Proceeds help fund conservation efforts in the area.
