Closure of 168-year old Wilmot business institution announced

The Stage Stop restaurant in Wilmot has announced via Facebook and its website that it is closing as of Friday.

The local institution — know for its grilled meat and the┬ástick of butter served on its baked potatoes — had billed itself as the longest continuously owned and operated tap and dining establishment in Wisconsin. That legacy dated back 168 years.

    could you atleast gave people time to come for one more meal I love that place and never in my life would have thought it would come to an end let me run it I will make it the same as it is now
