Units responding for smoke in Brighton

At about 8:37 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and a sheriff’s deputy are responding to a possible fire in the area of 4200 252nd Avenue in Brighton.

Per dispatch: A passerby has reported a large amount of black smoke in area, but no flames seen.

UPDATE 8:39 p.m. — Dispatch says a second caller reporting smoke in area of 4100 264th Avenue.

UPDATE 8:40 p.m. — Salem FR units are continuing to respond. Salem command calling off ARA response from Bristol Fire and Rescue.
