There’s a better than even chance of thunderstorms early Wednesday morning and again Thursday night and lesser chances of more storms in between, says the National Weather Service local forecast.

There’s a 90 percent chance of a thunderstorm Wednesday morning between 3 and 6 a.m. Then there’s a 40 percent chance of a storm from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A decent chance of a thunderstorm starts up again about 1 p.m. Thursday and becomes likely by 7 p.m.

High temperatures will be in the 80s through the balance of the week, with the exception of Saturday.
