Units responding for alarm at Trevor-Wilmot School

At about 11:20 a.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a supervisory alarm at Trevor-Wilmot School.

Per dispatch: Alarm was reported by alarm company as a smoke alarm with verification. Someone at the scene attempted to cancel the alarm with proper verification code. Rescue unit returning to quarters and another unit continuing non-emergency.

UPDATE 11:22 a.m. — Fire unit arriving on scene reports no smoke showing from exterior and no signs of an evacuation under way.
