Motorcyclist injured in crash in Bristol

A motorcyclist was transported by helicopter to a Milwaukee area trauma center after a crash in Bristol Tuesday afternoon.

From a media release from Bristol Fire & Rescue:

At 13;38 hours (1:38 p.m.) on Tuesday, June 28, the Bristol Fire and Rescue Department, Newport Fire Department and Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the 13600 block of State Line Road in Bristol for the report of a motorcycle crash. Upon arrival on scene, one victim was found in the roadway with life threatening injuries. Bristol Fire and Rescue crews requested Flight For Life (medical transport helicopter) to St Catherine’s Hospital while on scene due to the indicated mechanism of injury. The patient was assessed and treated by Bristol Fire and Rescue, Newport Fire Department and St Catherine’s Hospital before being transferred to Flight For Life and flown to Froedtert Hospital, a Level I trauma center in Wauwatosa.
