The Brighton School Board is looking for a district resident to appoint to fill an vacancy created by the resignation of Linda Perona.
Perona resigned from the board effective June 6 to pursue “an opportunity that would be a conflict of interest if she remained on the board,” said Penny Boileau, district administrator.
“Mrs. Perona was a respected, effective board member who oversaw many beneficial district changes,” Boileau said.
The term has two years remaining. District residents interested in being appointed should send a letter of intent to: Dr. Penny Boileau, 1200 248th Ave., Kansasvile WI 53139.
Letters should be submitted by June 13.
