Units responding for fire in Trevor

At about 3:04 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding for a fire in the 28500 block of Wilmot Road (Highway C) in Trevor.

Per dispatch: Smoke reported inside building, which houses a business.

UPDATE 3:10 p.m. — MABAS box alarm activated. Departments due to respond: Bristol Fire and Rescue and Kenosha Cire Department with engines, Kansasville Fire Department and Randall Fire Department with tenders, Randall and Town of Wheatland Fire Department with trucks.

UPDATE 3:41 p.m. — Salem F/R command upgrades box alarm to second alarm. Departments due to respond: Twin Lakes Fire Department and Pleasant Prairie Fire Department with engines, Wheatland, Newport Fire Department and Somers Fire Department with tenders, Spring Grove Fire Department with a squad, Scout Leaders Rescue Squad with an ambulance and Paris Fire Department and Kenosha with a chief.

UPDATE about 4:15 p.m. – Salem F/R command upgrades box alarm to third alarm, for tenders only. Somers due to respond with a tender.

    Sounds like the fire is out. They are cleaning up now and fire investigators are possibly on scene. My source said tenders came form Fox Lake, Randall, Kansasville. Wheatland, Somers, Silver Lake, Burlington and filled about 450,000gal of water.

    Yikes!!! Thanks Guys for doing a Thankless job!
