The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for an area of Wisconsin that includes Western Kenosha County.
The warning is in effect until 8:15 p.m.
The storm is expected to reach Silver Lake at about 7:40 p.m. and Paddock Lake at about 7:45 p.m.
This storm may produce wind speeds of up to 70 mph.
Radar indicates that this storm is, uncharacteristically, approaching this area from the northwest.
