Riverview School’s National Junior Honor Society members invite staff, students and the community to Coffee in the Courtyard on Saturday, June 4 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the school.

National Junior Honor Society members have been working over the past few weekends to revitalize the school courtyard.

After last summer with the construction for the remodel of the building, the courtyard was pretty much unusable.  The courtyard, which is an enclosed area in the center of the school building, only accessible from the inside, is a little haven and an area that has been used over the years for numerous classroom and club events and projects.  Due to construction, many of the plants, flower beds, and pond areas were displaced or destroyed in the process.  The NJHS students have been working to once again, make this a usable space.  The work has included moving hundreds of rocks, weeding and planting and more but the courtyard is slowly but surely coming together.

To celebrate the effort, the Junior Honor Society is inviting all staff, students, and community to the Coffee in the Courtyard.  Lemonade will be available for the kids.
