The final Central High School concert of the school year will take place tonight, Wednesday, May 25, at 7 p.m. in the cafetorium. Jazz Central will be performing several popular swing tunes that the audience will be familiar with such as Pennsylvania 6-5000, Jumpin’ East of Java, and Freddie Freeloader. Each Jazz Central member will have a featured solo throughout the evening’s performances. The Saxophone Quartet, made up of Delaney Coomans, Ndolo Nkabyo, Graham Andrews, and Kyle Vivian will also be performing their State Solo & Ensemble piece. Graham Andrews and Ndolo Nkabyo will also perform their State Solo & Ensemble duet. The performance run time is approximately 45 minutes. Admission is free and the public is welcome to join the event.
