Bristol woman dies in crash in Wilmot

A Bristol woman died in a single vehicle car cash in Wilmot Early Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department as Alyssa D. Lass, 21.

From a media release from the Sheriff’s Department:

Early Sunday Morning, May 8, 2016, at approximately 0330 hours, the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department responded to a one-vehicle crash in the 10600 block of CTH W/ Fox River Road Kenosha County, WI.   Kenosha County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene along with Fire and Rescue units from Salem and Silver Lake. The investigation revealed that a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu, being operated southbound on CTH W, lost control, exited the roadway and struck a tree.  Alyssa D. Lass, a 21-year old woman, of Bristol, was identified as the driver and sole occupant of the 2007 Malibu.    She was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
