Units responding for fire in Paris

At about 3:56 p.m., Paris Fire and Rescue, Bristol Fire and Rescue, Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue and Somers Fire and Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a fire in the 18500 block of Burlington Road (Highway 142).

Per dispatch: First report was that a dryer was on fire, but part of the house may also be on fire. Occupants have evacuated.

UPDATE 4:01 p.m. — Fire unit arriving on scene reports smoke coming from three sides of the building.

UPDATE 4:04 p.m. — Paris FD command activates a box alarm. Responding are companies from Kansasville Fire Department, South Shore Fie Department, Town of Wheatland Fire Department, Town of Salem Fire/Rescue, Town of Burlington Fire Department, Union Grove Fire Department, Kenosha Fire Department and Raymond Fire Department. Deputies also diverting traffic on Highway 142 in the area of the fire scene.
