Randall School’s 7th and 8th grade team advance to state math meet

The Southern Lakes Advanced Learners Network (formally Whitewater Talented and Gifted) had its annual Math Meet on March 17. In the morning, 5th and 6th graders competed, while in the afternoon 7th and 8th grade teams competed.

Randall School’s 7th and 8th grade team placed first. They will advance to state on May 24th. This next level of competition will be held at Madison College in Madison.

In addition, Randall’s Jacob Loose took 1st place as the highest scoring 7th grader at the event. Randall’s Claire Vozel took 2nd place for highest individual score in 8th grade.

Randall’s 5th and 6th graders competed in the morning, but did not place.
