Less than an inch of accumulation of sleet or snow in forecast

Isn’t nice¬†to be on the right side of a weather story for a change? I mean, we don’t even warrant a winter weather advisory.

The latest local National Weather Service forecast still says our area should dodge the weather excitement expected in much of Wisconsin.

That’s not to say we have a beautiful spring day in store. There is a 100 percent chance of precipitation Thursday. Through much of the day it should be rain. Around 5 p.m., it may be rain and sleet, with less than an inch of sleet accumulation expected. Tonight, there may be some snow, but less than a half inch of accumulation.

Friday looks much better, with a high temperature over 40 and sunny skies.

Rain may return Saturday afternoon.
