The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for our area effective until 9 a.m. Visibility of a quarter mile or less is expected.
The Tuesday night forecast includes a 90 percent chance of a thunderstorm. Though the storm could start this afternoon, it is most likely to peak tonight at about 9-10 p.m. Winds of 15-20 mph and gusts up to 35 mph are possible during the storm.
Then the NWS has issued a strong wind watch for Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening. Winds are expected to start picking up at about 5 a.m. and reach 25-30 mph with gusts as high as 55 mph.
The high temperature is expected to reach 49 Tuesday and 54 Wednesday, followed by a retreat into the low 40s over the next couple of days.
