Central HS’ Graham Andrews 2016 National Merit® Scholarship Program finalist

Central High School student Graham Andrews has been named a Finalist in the 2016 National Merit® Scholarship Program, Principal Lisa Albrecht, has announced.

A Certificate of Merit will be presented by the principal to Andrews at Central’s Academic Awards Ceremony on March 21, at 6:30 p.m.

Andrews was one of 16,000 Semifinalists named in September and has met all requirements to advance to Finalist standing in the competition. Selection of the Merit Scholarship winners is now in progress. Winners will be notified in March.

Westosha Central High School also had four Commended Students who received their Letter of Commendation in September. Clara Kevek, Olivia Rasmussen, Zachary Wermeling and Lucas Wysiatko scored within the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2016 competition by taking the 2014 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
