Wheatland Center School recently participated in the Southern Lakes Anthology writing contest. The title of this year’s anthology is “Anything but Ordinary.”
Sixteen of Wheatland’s students had their writing or artwork chosen for publication.
Student work is judged on creativity/originality, technical skill, clarity of message, and overall quality.
Third grader, Elayna Browers, received special recognition this year. In addition to having her piece included in this year’s anthology, her piece was selected to be read aloud at the reception in Whitewater on May 25.
