Bristol School District to host community meeting on Feb. 23 as part of new administrator search

Bristol School District residents will get a chance to say what they would like to see in their next district administrator.

The district’s consultant in the search for the next administrator will be hosting a community meeting on Feb. 23 to hear what the community wants in the next district administrator.

Here is the announcement from the district:

The Bristol School District #1 Board of Education has selected McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C. Executive Recruitment and Development to assist them in the important task of selecting District Administrator candidates for the board to interview. The selected candidate will replace Bristol’s current district administrator, Mr. Gale Ryczek, who is retiring at the end of the current school year. The consultants will be meeting with community members on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 6 PM in Room 201 of the school to gather input regarding the qualities of the next District Administrator. This meeting is open to any patron who wishes to provide input. For those citizens who cannot attend the Feb. 23 meeting, but who are interested in providing input into the process, an online survey will be available from the district website for five days, beginning on Feb. 24.
