At about 12:31 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and a sheriff’s deputy are responding to a report of a truck fire at 66th Street and 238th Avenue in Paddock Lake.
Per dispatch: The vehicle is a garbage collection truck.
UPDATE 12:37 p.m. — Salem F/R unit arriving on scene reports to dispatch that chassis of truck is “well-involved.”
UPDATE about 12:55 p.m. — Radio transmissions suggest fire is out.
UPDATE 1:30 p.m. — All Salem F/R units clearing the scene and returning to quarters.
