The Central High School Instrumental Music Department will be hosting its annual Band O Rama on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Students will rehearse by grade level for a few hours and the evening will culminate with a performance by each grade level.
The 5th and 6th Grade bands will perform at 4 p.m. They will perform a joint concert with Central High School’s Wind Ensemble and Jazz Central. The 5th grade band will be directed by Christine Trampusch, band director at Wheatland Center School. The 6th grade band will be directed by Tom Gard, band director at Salem Grade School
The 7th and 8th grade bands will perform at 5:30 p.m. They will perform a joint concert with Central High School’s Wind Ensemble and Jazz Central. The 7th grade band director will be directed by Ben Warmuth, band director at Paris Grade School and Brighton Grade School. The 8th grade band will be directed by Adam Scheel, band director at Central High School.
The Bristol Advanced Jazz Band, Salem Grade School Jazz Band, Wheatland Center Grade School Jazz Band, and Paris/Brighton combined jazz band will also perform.
